After reading your article and looking at all the photos, I’m wishing we had been able to make it further west in the Rio Grande Valley last winter. Big Bend looks like a beautiful area!

In reply to timojhen. Since we have had little or no internet for the last week, I didn't get to post this until we made it to our next destination, Fort Davis TX. It snowed during most of our three-hour drive here, and is going to be 24 degrees tonight. Let's hope our heated holding tanks live up to expectations!

Agree with John. This is the stuff I miss about the West. Really appreciate the pictures…. brings back a lot of fond memories. Especially when browsing them on a night where we have nothing but freezing rain! ;-)
