In reply to Denisa. Denisa, we're really glad we made it to Big Bend. Not sure if we'll go back any time soon (too many other places to see) but it was definitely worth the trip. Congratulations on launching your full-timing! I hear south-eastern Texas is pretty warm right now. We're in Tucson AZ and it's in the high 60s during the day (70s forecasted for next week). -Mike

I’m so glad to see that you made it to Big Bend! We commented earlier that we were interested in that route and we loved reading about your experience there. It’s really nice to see that you thought it was worth the trouble to take that detour into the National Park. Keep up the good work! We retired last Friday, and plan to hit the road tomorrow in our full-time journey. We are excited (and a little nervous) about our first trips down into Texas as we search for warmer weather.

The photos were breathtaking. You guys are much more adventurous than us! I love the sites, but fear the wild animals! I guess you need to get over your fears in order to experience such beauty.

We will finally pull our Allegro into Daytona tomorrow, just 2 weeks off schedule and 200 miles off course. I think I’ll look into swimming with the manatees when we make it to the west coast like you and Kat did. I think I can manage to overcome the fear of those gentle beauties! Lol
