Actually Mike, the cable is in fact a cable. It is a cable encased in garden hose. :) Nice Goat picture!

In reply to Amy. Amy, I'm sure you'll both love it there. The views from the Chalet are of course amazing! Even if Mike is more nervous than I was, the handrail (cable/hose) should provide plenty of moral support. August is right around the corner! -Mike

I enjoyed reading your experience on the Highline trail. I was happy to hear that you were fine on the cliff. We are going in August and my husband Mike is nervous with heights, too. We are staying at the Granite Park Chalet for two nights(a treat provided by my parent). I hate to wish my summer away, but I can’t wait until August!
