Yay, I can’t wait to hear what broadway show you two go to see. Stay on the main roads to get to Liberty Park and you’ll do great. The hardest part is taking that right turn onto the last road. It’s a busy intersection and we had some yahoo double-parked making our turn challenging. Other that that, it’s not too bad getting to the park. Have a great time, I’m so excited for you two!

LOL, I was sure to ruffle some feathers about the city statement. We like the historical cities but since we’re not big foodies, or beer drinkers, most of the cities kind of blur together. NYC was pretty awesome though and we barely scratched the surface. We aren’t used to doing quite so much in a short time but it was worth it!

Bring tissues when you head to the 9/11 museum. You’re right in that it’s emotionally exhausting.

There are other options In southern NY and northern NJ. Lots of campgrounds that are quite nice and amenable to even very large rigs—and generally only a few minutes away from a train station or bus stop that will take you right into NYC.

I’m tired just thinking about it. And I agree – NYC is awesome! We haven’t visited since moving into the RV, but now that we’re much more confident with it, I’m sure we will. Thanks for all the helpful tips on getting to and from the RV park there.

Interesting take on the 9/11 memorial and museum. I never thought of that before, but you are probably right. Visiting a place that memorializes something you lived through is very different than one that talks about a completely unknown subject. There aren’t many of those that I can think of. I definitely want to go to the memorial, but it will certainly be emotionally exhausting to bring those memories to the forefront again.

And what is this madness that all cities are the same? Whaaaaa?????? That is some crazy talk right there….
