OMG, no kidding, right? I’m all about the scenic easy bike rides. I was miffed when we had to bike uphill for a WHOLE block and a half (it felt like 4 miles!). While we tend to prefer discovering things by ourselves, sometimes we like a tour simply because of all the cool information they can provide.

You’re definitely right about what changes when a new hobby comes along. We often (embarrassingly) find ourselves trying to prod friends to try new games, so don’t be surprised if we might ask you and TBG if you want to game the next time we meet up.

Really really hoping to catch you two in Tucson! We plan to be there at the end of Jan for about 3 weeks. Will you still be there?

+1 on Meetup. That really is a fantastic organization when you’re in one place long enough to start focusing on some interests and hobbies.

The slower pace sounds so relaxing, and San Diego looks wonderful. Isn’t it amazing how once you find something you’re really into (RVing, gaming) a whole new world opens up? Some of those games look like they would take days just to learn how to play!

Looking forward to hopefully catching up in Tucson soon!
