It really is tough to see all of Yellowstone in such a short time! Was it super-crowded when you went? Was there a favorite part you liked? Would you go back? We enjoyed it but the crowds really made it tough sometimes.

I agree. I think September would definitely be the best time. Most people would be back to work/school. I bet the weather would be a bit cooler but worth it for a much smaller crowd.
